Just imagine how much room there is for misinformation, misinterpretation, misguidance and misjudgement on this single day, April 1st? Who can you trust? The frenzy that begins on April First sometimes extends to the rest of the week! In order to take a step up from this celebration of ignorance, Libervis.com will not feature any news, any articles and will close its automated newswire for this day in order to avoid participating in the rampant and mutual misinformation campaign.

While we always advise you to "question everything", we put further emphasis on this advice on April 1. Be careful what you read and what you believe, anywhere on the web, except here on Libervis.com, of course, for we would never ever opt to misinform you with a ridiculous or even unplausible yet believable enough to cause reasonable doubt kind of news piece.

We have considered doing a prank ourselves for April 1st this year, but we just didn't have the heart to misinform such a great readership we have here. We just couldn't do it.

Therefore I hereby rename April 1st from Fools Day to the Day of Smart Masses (sorry ThinkGeek, had to borrow your term, will return tomorrow ).
