Libervis 2007 draft 1

Tags:

This is just a test concept draft for the new Libervis header/logo design. I am dubbing this whole thing by the year "2007" because that is the year we are entering and that is the look we are going to have for 2007.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Libervis 2007 draft 1

I have only one comment:

I have only one comment: WOW!

Thanks. It is still

Thanks. Smiling

It is still possible to come up with a whole new concept, but if others like it as you do, I think I'll stick to this and just make some improvements.

Of course on this image there are no strips across that gray which will carry the main menu and um.. well, ads as it is now. Sticking out tongue

The strips will nicely be merged to the border of the oval area.

Also, what about the slogan? Do you like "The Digital Rights Movements"? It's kind of funny, maybe, that the acronym for that remains "DRM". Maybe I should make a colorful emphasis on the word "movement" to make a subtle implication that this is a different kind of "DRM". Smiling

How about "Digital Freedom

How about "Digital Freedom Movement"?

This is an impressive logo.

This is an impressive logo. I think the best word to describe it would be 'Grand'. Will the gray portion on the right remain gray though? or will it be transparent? If it's the former I'm not very sure about the gray.

Could you make another version with the "Digital Freedom Movement" tbuitenh sugested?

Sure I can make a version

Sure I can make a version with that slogan. That would be a good slogan too I think. Speaking about rights we're speaking about freedoms most of the time anyway, except that maybe people fear the "freedom-speak" more.

About the gray, I'm not sure.. I am thinking of something else than white as it is now, and making some site columns (blocks) a bit darker. It doesn't have to be this kind of gray though, this is just a quickie.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll upload the new version when I'm done with it.

Cheers
