Alan Cox takes on patents and DRM with... patents

Diggers report that the Linux kernel maintainer Alan Cox is filing for DRM related patents. It seems obvious the the intent behind this may be to combat DRM by taking away as much legal space from it as possible. It may also end up as a nice way of showing what a swiss cheese software patents system is.
