Art Contest Entry #3 - Linux Powered X-Space Probe
Hello, here is my entry to this contest, just for fun, i am not eligible to win. :-D

It's an inside view from a X-Space Probe 001 (powered by GNU/Linux) looking at the space outside, scanning and exploring planet 4 of the star system Sirius. :quoi: :-D
Njoy. ;-) (It's in the gallery as well).
BTW: Once again, i call everyone that likes playing around with GIMP, Blender, Inkscape and other free graphics software to make something up and give it a shot. You just might be the one to win a subdomain, e-mail address, place for your art on a T-Shirt sold at future cafepress store (don't worry it's in preparation) and a title here on forums marking you a an actuall libervis art contest 2005 winner (and possibly more) :-) Don't be shy, all creations are art! ;-)
Thank you
Daniel

Well done. One heack of an idea... mmmh. Considering the fact that NASA already uses Linux to create simulations and command the Mars Rover (think the EU also uses Linux...).
Quite spiffy. =]

If the area around my avatar is dark gray chances are you are using MS Internet Explorer, one of the few browsers that do not have full PNG-24 support. Considered trying [url=http://bro
Yes, especially that star on the right - really nice effect there :-).
Thanks guys, glad you like it...:-)

Yeah, considering that fact it is quite possible that a future deep space probe would be powered by something like GNU/Linux, free software. we should invent something similar to at least low warp t be able to get to Sirius 4 though.
Thanks
