Coop Org Business idea/model/plan (continued)
So are we all clear on the business idea we are to use in our cooperative organization? The one which we've all come down to is the idea of building web services (such as the BugHammer idea in a private section) based on research we should continiously do in order to develop new web service ideas and projects which would be appreciated by the community/market and profitable.
We should further detailize the actual model per which this idea would function, define the process from nothing to the final "product" and then the revenue from that product.
Then we can start working on the business plan. I'll find some templates for it and we can then choose which one would best fit us. Business plan basically outlines what we are doing, for whom are we doing it and how do we intend to make money by doing it. It also outlines our investment, production and marketing strategies as well as a "backup plan" in cases of failure.

I am not aware of any trans-country entities. I think people tend to just use a company incorporated in a specific country. If you want to start a company you will need to choose a country in which to start one. That choice will be determined by where the members are likely to be and any regulatory issues (including tax and liability) in possible countries.

Cheers

So, his advise is to choose a better country to locate our organisation legally. That means to verify in which one is easier to constitute a cooperative. As most people of our proto-organisation are in Europe, I think it might be in some country of Europe. We should have a look at the specific law about cooperative organisations in Britain, The Nederlands and Croatia.
Monserrat.
