Now i see what you mean by "ugly". IE doesn't displays those transparent png images correctly as it is just so orphan and old piece of crap that won't keep up the standard.
I'll try to fix this by giving every image a background it's set on or search for a better solution...
Firefox is definitely better than Internet Explorer and it is for free.
Check out all the advantages Firefox has to offer you and you can even download it for free by clicking on the link/button at the bottom of the page at : http://my-internet-tips-and-tricks.blogspot.com/2008/03/why-use-firefox.html
You can download it and use Internet Explorer and Firefox side by side till you are sure of yourself.
The page linked to by marulu above has one of those firefox/google toolbar buttons (does google still pay for those?). Spammy.
By the way, it's funny to see I wrote about the security by obscurity of firefox. It may have been true 4 years ago, but not anymore. The other security arguments still hold, of course, even much more so than back then.
Google still pays for these things, but it's much lower than 4 years ago (originally it's $0.1, and now it's $0.01 per download).
Not sure if it's because they have realized the negative effect of such ads.
Honestly, I don't like Firefox before.....but when I got new pc. I try to have firefox now. Amazing I can easily browse in what ever site i want to open. And even the logo design alone of the Firefox Mozilla is representing that you hit anywhere in the world.
Your partially right from Tabbed Browsing and the pop up blocker is seemingly quite good. But one thing I could suggest. That when I go over on searching some of the French and other site which I could not read, when something click on the right click no translator for English of what ever.
Well, I am on an 512kpbs ADSL line;)
Man, are you lucky..
well, i'm gonna look at that glitch in IE.
Thanks
Daniel

I sure do use FireFox instead of IE. I just love the extensions that you can install on the side.

Hoping soon, they will have a translator.
