Feed Reader

Feed Reader

Hi,

I wonder if this is the right forum. Please let me know.
I was wondering if we could provide an online RSS reader on Libervis.
People could import and export their own feeds (under the form of OPML files) but, and most importantly, we could as well define a set of default feeds on FOSS and Free Culture.

What do you think?

Best,
Charles.

What will make us better

Topic moved to "Questions & Suggestions".

What will make us better than other online feed readers?

I think this could possibly

I think this could possibly be a good replacement for the featured news section as it may be phased out. Instead of us picking the news, let the readers pick what they feel is important and have the best-picks show up on one of the top pages..

We already have a newswire, but it's not interactive or user powered in any way. It's just a planet of Libervis-relevant news sources, basically.

I'm open to ideas. Smiling

what will make us better?

Hmm... good question. Here's what I have in mind:

Technically: perhaps not much. Linking some social aspect to it might be a plus

On the content: we may become the most relevant feed aggregator on FOSS and Free Culture...

Best,
Charles.

Just a technical suggestion

I didn't test that one but could this be interesting?

Seems interesting. I'll test

Seems interesting. I'll test it as soon as I can.

Thanks
