This is not exactly Free Culture, but is definitely something I'd like to see more in TV ads: The new Coca Cola ad.

I first saw this a couple of days ago and it looked interesting because it is apparently 3D graphics (from YouTube I found out it's actually from GTA 3D, a proprietary game which actually, from what I remember, promotes an anti thesis to the point of this commercial). When I saw it, I loved it immediately, but was slightly disappointed when I saw it was advertising Coca Cola, a company I know is guilty of some very bad deeds (which is why I avoid buying coke, and buy alternatives which are plenty).

But still, I can't deny it that whoever's creativity was behind this ad, it did a nice job. The ad just makes me feel very empathic.

It also teaches what I believe to be one of the most crucial lessons a human can learn, including all visitors to this site, that thing we keep coming back to, the balance, reciprocity, respect others so that others respect yourself. Indeed, give and you shall be given. Bible does have some good concepts to offer here.

Btw, I did notice lately that there are some positively minded commercials. For example, they are advertising hybrid cars in Croatia now in a commercial whose slogan is "Technology today for human tomorrow" and feels very environmentalist. It is another thing that makes me feel warm and fuzzy; technology has caught up and we can make a better world.

I know these are just ads, but I will support those which send a positive message to the world permiated by so much negativism (of which I am really utterly fed up (murders, greed, wars, paranoia, gosh we've had enough of that didn't we?)).

It certainly is a good

It certainly is a good parody of GTA, but without thinking of it as a parody it is way too cheesy for my taste.

I kinda like the sentiment,

I kinda like the sentiment, I'd draw a line at the birdie song though.

It does nothing for the company for those of us who've heard about their tactics in selling toxins and dealing with workers who tried to form unions and farmers whose groundwater is depleted in India etc.

Funny thing is, their attempts to get vending machines and branded sports equipment into schools can backfire badly, it only takes one person on the parents council to raise these issues and even if the school still let's CC in a lot more people have become aware of their fuller record.

I guess "give a little adversity and it all comes back to you" is also true.

It is kinda cheesy maybe, but when talking about cheesy I usually mean something slightly different, like those teen shows portraying boys and girls who supposedly have a life yet their life is just acting. It annoys me to no end.

This, if it's cheesy, is a different kind of cheesy because it actually has some deepness to it, even if the intention was to just be cheesy. Sticking out tongue

Quite true indeed. And makes sense.

Love is a single word but it has many deep feelings between a couples. These are care, understanding, devotion, dedication, respect for each other, and sense of responsibility thereby making this feeling so powerful and incredible. The feeling of love comes automatically in a person’s heart. Love is smile, happiness and joy. It binds two people in such a strong relation. It makes life very beautiful.
