Have you ever been touched by... culture?

I have, and frankly I think everyone had or should have had those magical moments. If you didn't then I pitty you, you're missing a big deal. It is those moments when you are trouly and deeply touched by something you are experiencing, something that is inevitably part of our culture, even thinking to yourself.. this is the peak of it.. this is humanity at its best, this creation and the feelings that it wakes inside you, feelings that are usually positive, because negative feelings aren't usually as deep and magical as positive ones.

I'm posting this out of the urge to share my current feelings about something I listen to, well.. actually right now, an instrumental by Jerry Goldsmith - Flute Solo which is actually music of Picards Flute from one great episode where captain Picard experienced a whole life which was just an illusion, in which there was this thing he loved to do, play flute. At the end of the episode, when he realized this life (a good life with a good family, love and such) was just an illusion, all he was left with was this flute. Well, finding and listening to this instrumental brings me back to that story and in combination with the touching melody of that playing flute.. I'm in heaven (and I don't have to say how much I want to view that episode again) :-D

So, it happens.. we as humans are often completely caught deeply experiencing a cultural creation of other human, for one reason or another, which often results in deep respect for those other humans, but more importantly to the human culture as a whole.. how really important and valuable it is, how much we should cherish and promote it, love it and keep it free for everyone on this planet, so that everyone can experience it's magic.
