By the way, I find it a bit strange that noone yet applied for winning 10 000 banner impressions by posting 50 posts in a month. It is even being advertised through a banner at the top and yet noone seems to be interested..

There's no harm in applying. If you don't manage to post that much then fine, but if you do you get something. You can use these impressions to advertise your site or blog, a site of a friend, site that you like or just to shout out a message of some kind (as long as any of this doesn't violate the spirit of libervis.com).

I am mentioning it since I think it's somewhat related to the member awards of sort. :-)

Justin is my buddy from school and when I told him about the site, he signed up right next to me, and I still didn't notice he was the 500th.

That's great! :-D He just joined today and it turns out he is 500th member. We're lucky it wasn't just another lurker or even worse spammer. He posted right after joining. :-)
