New wiki software (MediaWiki)

A while ago we discussed switching our wiki's software to something more capable. Now the MediaWiki (which powers Wikimedia) XOOPS module has a stable release, and we've installed it. The old wiki's pages have been converted to MediaWiki's syntax and made easier to read.

A new page that wasn't possible before due to the page size limiation of the old software has been created, the Table of Equivalent Software.

Yep, we have mediawiki which ought to be more powerful than the old wiwimod we've used. So there's some extra technical boost for our cooperative projects there. Smiling
