Next up: New Libervis Face!

After the final Nuxified.org announcement about redesign, improvements, current state and future I'll be heading more of my efforts towards Libervis.com.

There will be no thorough redesign, but there will most likely be a new logo, a new slogan and slightly modified color theme. Along with this we will have a new merged "blog" section representing the main content area of Libervis.com, the news archive for putting interesting news/events in and of course forums which might be cleaned up a bit as well.

After that I'll go over some project ideas we've been having to see what to take up and what not. Some of the ideas are the digital freedoms index (for which I'm not sure is necessary if Reporters Without Borders already have something similar) and new profiles with some social networking features as discussed here.

Simultaneously, the plan is to also work on the Nuxified competition, as planned.

I've started a RoadMap page

I've started a RoadMap page on the wiki so that we know what our goals are, and when they should be done by etc.

Would it be an idea to theme

Would it be an idea to theme the wiki with a new skin so that it better matches the rest of Libervis.com? I find the current theme rather bland.

Themeing mediawiki is a bit more complicated though. I've already tried to add at least a network bar to the default theme and that didn't work out so well. But I'll have to give it a try, creating a completely new them off of the most basic one I suppose.
