I'm In between distros because I can't find one I can settle with and use for a long time. But I either install Debian (3.1) or Slackware 10.1 when a different distro goes bad. (As in, I dont like it)
After months of using (and loving) Slackware I have switched to Arch GNU/Linux and I love it so far mainly because it is simple in sense of Slackware, but has an advanced and easy to use package manager called "pacman" which unlike pkgtool from Slackware does dependancy checking. Not only that, but the Arch Build System (ABS) enables fairly easy way to compile new packages from source (think gentoo). You can use it to compile/recompile the whole system if you wish.
This is why Arch seems to be picking up the best from both Slackware and Gentoo. For many, including myself, its a perfect combination.
Nihilanth, you might want to give Arch a try. And btw, welcome to libervis! :-)
By the way, welcome back after almost a year! Did you already know we now have the very cool free software support site http://www.nuxified.org in the libervis network?
And no, I don't have a phenomenal memory, but the CMS does :-)
I think you can tell from my avatar
Fedora only uses FOSS, has a lot of packages and is bleeding edge.

Oh, I still didn't report my latest switch.

Debian. As others probably feel, once you go apt, you never go back :-P

That's right, you go forward and install arch linux
I loved apt until I tried pacman.
At the moment I use Gentoo and Jedi. ( Figured my old response was 6 months old ).
Going OpenSuse now
"If anyone finds spelling-mistakes in my posts - just pick them up and keep them. "
Now I use Ubuntu, hoary at the moment, but I'm waiting for a breezy CD.
I am waiting for Arch Noodle to be released though and then I'll try that and most likely even write a review of it for LinuxForums.org.
I'm also looking forward to try OpenSuSE and/or PCLinuxOS. Apt-rpm intrigues me.
Thanks
Daniel
I use arklinux built off of redhat

So, is it any better than slackware? ;-)
