I am required to read this book for a European history class. It is old, published in 1910, so it is in the public domain and on Wikisource. I found Chapter 1.6 relevant to this site, in particular the last paragraph:

Is a free and open stock market a possibility? I am curious to know what all of you think about a stock market system based on complete openness in terms of financial reporting and the ability of any person to become an investor. All transactions must be open and reported. All gains and losses must be public knowledge. What legal restrictions would stand in the way of a non-profit company created to accomplish this task?

One of the new things I became interested in lately are machinima, or movies made within video games. I am in fact building a site that is to allow linking, voting and reviewing machinima movies, recognizing it as a growing phenomenon and an interesting new (at least from the perspective of the mainstream) media of cultural expression.

This is something I continue to be genuinely interested in. The credit fiasco that happened in USA and infected the rest of the world, bringing down some of the most powerful and oldest banks in US and some big banks in Europe too, regardless and perhaps even partly because of the just passed bail out in US and other bail outs in Europe, is according to many leading the world towards a global deep recession which some compare even to the Great Depression that started in 1929.

Considering that I am a voluntaryist (or for the newbies to the term; a left libertarian, or anarcho-capitalist) I am by default against any and all legislation. Still it's good to offer arguments behind why is a particular legislation bad and I've found an article which explains why would the net neutrality regulation be bad:
