"Why I love Linux"

"It comes down to the most basic principle for the design of any operating system: it must enable you.">
That's what it's all about. It puts you into the drivers seat. If you're not an advanced user, somebody else is and that somebody is in a community which has the freedom to and is willing to help you too have a great ride!
Free Software on Dell

Tags:Only few months ago it may have seemed incredible, and now that it has happened we are left in almost a dreamy state wondering what exactly just happened. There has been a controversy regarding Dell's offering of GNU/Linux (Ubuntu) on their machines being too little, too late, too focused on enthusiast market instead of general market, but it can't be denied, despite everything, that this is a move in the right direction and that it leaves a lot of hope that the long expected surge of desktop GNU/Linux is about to be happening soon.
