Here is one simple shot of a beautiful XFce desktop of mine (as it currently is).

It displays:

- XFce panel (bottom)
- Nautilus (set not to load desktop icons)
- Terminal (from os-cillation)

I simply had to rate it 10, it looks great .

And I was really nicely surprised to see a kGet system tray icon in XFCE's system tray. XFCE 4.2 RC2 had problems with KDE system tray icons - I'm glad it works now.

Yeah, that tray works like a charm, haven't noticed any problems with it so far. And KGet is so useful.

Hey since Nautilus is normally for gnome - would Konqueror and the other KDE based apps work with this as well?

Yes, all of the KDE apps should work in XFCE without wny problems.
