I am a recent addition to libervis, thanks to Taco.
I find this language and world of programming fascinating, however, I'm simply an amateur.
Now I can wow my computer friend with great insights into something I hardly know anything about!
Knowledge is running deep here..

I will post articles pertinent here.
Anyone use google alerts?

Rose

Welcome again Rose. The

Welcome again Rose. Smiling

The world of programming has a good deal to do with the topic of this site, but we are much more than a programming community. Programmers are the wizards of the digital age, because they poses power to manipulate the flow of digital information to create beautiful functional "things". Libervis is about freedom though, and that includes freedom to control the code running on your own computer devices being able to modify it and adapt it as you wish and share it with others.

The digital freedom today is even more, being in control of digital music you bought, being able to participate in creating new culture rather than just consume what's given etc. Just explore and I think you'll get the feel of it. Smiling

Oh, I'm not using Google Alerts myself.

I'd just like to say, I'm glad you're ALL out there, and so enjoy yourselves.

'http://www.libervis.com' looks gorgeous (it's been a bit since I last looked), and I see lots of interesting comments in the forum so far. I'm happy to be part of the community. :-)
