Well, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm 21 years old, and I live in Pula, Croatia.

I started using Linux in 1997, when my friend gave me Slackware. It was confusing as hell, and I had to reset because I didn't know how to exit vi Laughing. Anyway, I found Slack to be way above my understanding and I deleted it. Then a few months later I installed Red Hat (I can't remember what version, I think it was 5.x), and it was a lot less confusing. Well, since then I also used Mandrake, SuSE and Debian. Then I decided to try something new and installed FreeBSD Idea. It is a great OS, and probably the best OS I have used. I used it for a few years, but now I have returned to Linux, and currently I use Slackware (ironic, isn't it:-D), and it's not confusing anymore :-).

Also, you can find some of my art (made in GIMP )here. I'm not very good, but it's just a hobby. And I will get better.

Besides computers, I also like mountain biking, and every sport that gives me adrenaline rush. Well, that's about it.

Re: Hi all!

Hi Messk!

Welcome to growing libervis.community, we're happy to have you onboard Wink .

FreeBSD was probably the perfect "entry level" OS for you at the time. It probably wasn't as easy as windows, but easy enough for you to master, and since it's unix you learned enough to prepare to be ready for more complicated systems such as Slackware. Just logics. Wink

Anyway, you'r art looks cool and interesting.

Thanks for joining.
Daniel
